This is Santana at Woodstock in 1969 doing Soul Sacrifice. Michael Shrieve was only 19 at the time, but his solo is one of the greatest drum solos in history. On top of some great playing, it’s also amazing how good a 4 piece set of silver sparkle 1960′s Ludwig drums can sound. See if you don’t agree…
