If you haven’t rented Paul McCartney’s “The Space Within Us” tour DVD, you are missing an amazing concert with a doubly amazing drummer. I don’t think I’ve ever really seen Abe Laboriel, Jr except in Modern Drummer magazine ads before, but talk about an ambidextrous monster! Abe is plain and simply awesome, with an amazing amount of control on every limb. I just hope I can someday get to this level of playing!
